about us
World Gallery is a unique, fair trade store that works with non-profits, humanitarian groups, and fair trade wholesalers to distribute items from small producer groups that otherwise would not have an opportunity to receive a fair wage for their beautiful, unique products.  Working conditions are clean, safe, non-toxic, and non-exploitive. Children work to the extent that they are learning traditional arts or helping to pay for their schooling (no child labor or sweatshops). By purchasing fair trade products, a family has increased resources, which will reduce the risk that a child will be sent away to work for the family rather than attend school. Children in developing countries are often sent away because of the conditions of poverty that surround many families in the world. These children are sent to dangerous working conditions, become a part of human trafficking, slave labor, and often are abandoned with little hope of being reunited with their families.  We also sell artwork made by Russian orphans.  This unique art program opens them to their creativity and strengthens their self worth and abilities. Our goal is to bring hope to others, one person at a time!

We also view this store as an opportunity for consumers to enjoy unique products and delicious foods representing diverse and inspiring cultures from around the world.
When you shop at World Gallery, you are not only purchasing an item but you are learning about a "real person" that created your item and making a substantial difference in the life of that artisan and his/her family.
